Blurb:
Being a Sentinel isn’t all fairytales and secret gardens.
Sure, jumping through books into the world’s most beautiful libraries to protect humans from mystical creatures is awesome. No one knows that better than Gia Kearns, but she could do without the part where people are always trying to kill her. Oh, and the fact that Pop and her had to move away from her friends and life as she knew it.
And if that isn’t enough, her boyfriend, Arik, is acting strangely. Like, maybe she should be calling him “ex,” since he’s so into another girl. But she doesn’t have time to be mad or even jealous, because someone has to save the world from the upcoming apocalypse, and it looks like that’s going to be Gia.
Maybe. If she survives.

My thoughts:
this book was really good. this book picked up exactly were the last book left off. this book was a slow to start but then i picked up. there will be some major changes in the group of Sentinels. some parts of this book i had to reread because of the history of the other world. the main character is making me mad. she starts off super confident in herself and now she is acting like a week little girl. i don't understand the switch in her. the second half of this book the pace picks up. all of the action happens in the second half of the book. there will be a major death that happens in this book. the ending will make you scream.i don't have much more that i can say about this book other than to add it to your read list.
