Bookcon this weekend!!!

Ok, so it is that time of year again. Bookcon!! if you don't know what Bookcon is than let me tell you. the event is held in New York City and people come from all over the world to interact with other readers. I personally love being in the environment with other readers. It is a great vibe. this year I did not get as many good tickets for Author signings but I am ok with that. The reason I am ok with it that is because last year I was so busy running around I did not get a chance to see much to enjoy everything. My thoughts:
My new favorite series. I don't know where to start with this review. it was action packed and romantic all at the same time. The main characters both dated each other in the past and had a bad break up. both of the characters have regrets but they are too angry at each other. facts will be reviled that we did not see coming and we will learn that things are not how they seem at all. if you like reading about crazy stunts, romance, and sassy banter this book is for you. I can not wait to read more from this series.

My thoughts:
So this book was not what I was expecting. I read Wingman Inc. series first and I love it.  So when I found out that there was going to be more book I was super excited. this book did not do the other series justice at all. it had the same basic premise of the other books did but with different people. to me, the ending was a little rushed and could have been a little better. also, I thought that there would have seen more of the old characters more as well but they only came in at the end. I was a little disappointed. this book did have some good moments though. It was funny, sexy, and talked about interracial couples. I think that is not talked about enough in books and I liked how this topic was discussed in this book. Not sure if I will read the next book if there is one but not a horrible book.

My thoughts:
I love the premise of this story. I have never read a romance book like this one before. the characters them self-were funny and there will never be a dull moment. I love the sassiness of the main characters. both characters help each other get past there demons. while the romance is going on someone is trying to kill them. this makes the story ten times more interesting. the ending will shock you. overall,  the concept, story plot, and all of the male sexiness will make for a great read.

Disgrace (a legacy novel ) by Bethany-Kris

My thoughts:
This book had a wonderful ending but also tragic. I personally can relate when it comes to John being diagnosed with a mental disorder can have a huge impact on your personal life. John is an aspiring character for me because even though he has his struggles he always knows a way to make through in the end. I think that Serina is amazing for just wanting to be with John even though he is different. Their story gives hope to those people out there with mental disorders. I am sad to see this couple go but I can't wait to read more about the children in this storyline.

My thoughts:

I sware Jillian can do no wrong. every book that she comes out with is a hit. there has not been one book that she has done that was bad. this is a continuation of a series so I recommend reading them first. this book is action-packed and romantic at the same time. one of the thing that love about Jillian's books, they always pick up exactly where they left off from the previous book. she packs a lot of info into one book so be ready. there will be secrets revealed but you will end up with more questions as well. Not so sure if I like Huntly right now when it comes to her choice in men. the ending is a cliffhanger so be warned. overall I can not wait for the next book.
