The Blood of Olympus By Rick Riordan
Before I get in to the book review i just wanted to say sorry i have not blogged in a while but i need to take a step back but i will try to blog ever two weeks. now in to the book review .Series is now over:(. this book had a perfect ending to the series. I don't think i have read a book with a better ending. I have a felling this is not the end of this crew that we might see them again. i don't thing that he will add more characterizes to this crew but i don't think this was the end of them. they will be back again. I can not wait so see what Rick Riordan will do now that this series is over. I don't even have words for how i feel about this book but i can highly recommend it. Remember that this the last in the series so you need to read it in order.

Twelve overgrown man-children, sixteen hours, and a whole lot of liquor. Just how much fun can be had in one night?
Join Nate, Ashton and their friends on a wild night out on the town.
Excerpt 1:
Tears of joy stung my eyes. This was easily one of the best things that had ever happened to me. I was snapping photos like a madman as the Jimmy Meddler walked down the carpeted aisle towards the wrestling ring where we were all standing. I couldn’t breathe properly, and I was seriously making myself look like a punk. Luckily for me, everyone had the same awed expressions as I did; my dad was actually covering his mouth and jumping up and down.
We were in the famous recording studios where my childhood heroes smacked the shit out of each other for our entertainment. I was literally standing in the ring where my heroes had stood, watching as the most incredible wrestler in the world walked towards me. His jet-black hair was covered by a red bandana the same as usual, and a black vest with ‘The Meddler’ was covering his muscled chest. My mouth dropped open in awe as he climbed into the ring, standing there at a mammoth six-feet-eight. At age fifty-nine, he still took my breath away.
When he made a growling sound and tore his shirt in half, throwing it at my feet, I just about lost it. Now it was my turn to scream like a pre-pubescent girl who had just been hugged by Harry Styles. Ashton clapped me on the back, grinning like an idiot. We’d spent many an hour when we were young and stupid trying to re-enact some of this guy’s moves. He probably loved him just as much as I did.
Excerpt 2:
I shrugged. I never knew my dad wanted a tattoo at all; I had no clue what he was going to come out with. “No idea.”
It took just under half an hour; obviously, they were fast workers. The curtain pulled back, and both George and my dad limped out, laughing and grinning to themselves. I sighed and raised one eyebrow expectantly. My dad grinned and turned his back on me, pulling down his Iron Man shiny red pants to show me a bandage on his butt cheek. Oh, God, do I even want to see this? Please, please, do not let my mom blame me for this! He pulled the bandage down and as soon as I saw the two little words, I burst out laughing.
‘Dawn’s Bitch’
Yep, my dad had seriously had that tattooed on his ass. He was a dead man walking.

As I stood in the lobby waiting for him to arrive, a bad feeling settled in the pit of my stomach. I had no idea where we were going or what we were going to be doing tonight – all I knew was that when Ashton had gotten married a few years back, I had taken my best man duties seriously, and of course had teased the shit out of him all night long. Tonight was probably going to be payback.
As the front door swung open and Ashton strutted in with a shit-eating grin on his face, I groaned loudly. He was wearing a black T-shirt that read: ‘Best man of the pussy-whipped party’ on the front.
“You ready for this, Nate?” he asked.
“Seriously? You’re wearing that?” I asked, pointing down at his chest.
He laughed and nodded, throwing his arm around my shoulder. “This is going to be one wild night, but don’t worry; I’ll get you so drunk you won’t even remember it in the morning,” he assured me, leading me out of the building.
I sighed deeply. I had a feeling I was going to live to regret ever meeting him by the time morning came. This was probably going to be the most painfully embarrassing night of my twenty-five years of life.

Beautiful Oblivion by Jamie McGuire
Hey everyone! I hope every one is having a good summer so far. sorry i have not blogged in a while but this summer has been crazy for me. So from now on i will try to be on more. Let me tell you about the book I just finished.
This book was a amazing. I finished it in one day it was so good. Beautiful Oblivion part of a companion series to the Beautiful Disaster series. This series is called the Maddox brothers. I enjoyed the Beautiful Disaster series. I liked this book because it was funny, dramatic, and the guys are yummy. Trenton is the Maddox bother in this story. He is a hot tattoo artist and is know as being a player. I fell in love with Trent in the beautiful disaster series. He is the second youngest brother in the Maddox family. In beautiful Oblivion they bring back characters from the Beautiful disaster series. I recommend that you read that series first but you don't have to. This book keep me on my toes the entire time. there are times when you will be very frustrated and will not know what to do but scream. This book also takes place at the same time as her other series is happening. There is a big twist at the end that will shock you like no tomorrow. i can not wait to read the next book by Jamie McGuire.
Blurb about the book:
The Beautiful Disaster and Walking Disaster phenomenon continues in the first heart-pounding new adult romance in The Maddox Brothers series.
Fiercely independent Camille "Cami" Camlin gladly moved on from her childhood before it was over. She has held down a job since before she could drive, and moved into her own apartment after her freshman year of college. Now tending bar at The Red Door, Cami doesn’t have time for much else besides work and classes, until a trip to see her boyfriend is cancelled, leaving her with a first weekend off in almost a year.
Trenton Maddox was the king of Eastern State University, dating co-eds before he even graduated high school. His friends wanted to be him, and women wanted to tame him, but after a tragic accident turned his world upside down, Trenton leaves campus to come to grips with the crushing guilt.
Eighteen months later, Trenton is living at home with his widower father, and works full-time at a local tattoo parlor to help with the bills. Just when he thinks his life is returning to normal, he notices Cami sitting alone at a table at The Red.
As the baby sister of four rowdy brothers, Cami believes she’ll have no problem keeping her new friendship with Trenton Maddox strictly platonic. But when a Maddox boy falls in love, he loves forever—even if she is the only reason their already broken family could fall apart.
In the first installment of the Maddox Brothers books, readers can experience the rush of reading Beautiful Disaster for the first time, all over again

Breathe,Annie,Breathe by Miranda Kenneally
I am in love with this series! This is book 5 in the series. if you like to read about sports than this is your book. It is funny and sad st the same time. You can read this book on its own but it helps if you read the other book first because she talks about her other characters from her other books. This book takes place at the end of high school for Annie but also goes into what is happening in college. I like that she went into college for this book for the first time. This book will most likely make you want to cry but over all it is a really good book.

Sometimes it last by Abbi Glines
I am obsessed with Abbi Glines's books! They are funny, emotional, and the men in this series are super sexy. This book is part of her Sea Breeze series. There are 8 books in the series and this one is number 5. The two main characters in this book are Cage and Eva. this is Cage's second book in the series. Cage is funny and sexy. in the book he was hanging out with the wrong people that messes up his relationship with Eva. This book made me cry and scream all at the same time. I like when authors incorporate the old characters from their previous books. Towards the end of the books i feel that she rushed the ending. overall i love this book.
Here is a little blurb of what the book is about:
Cage York has to choose between a love of the game and a love of the girl in this sultry Sea Breeze novel from New York Times bestselling author Abbi Glines.
After waiting for his big break, bad boy Cage York is finally called up to prove his worth in the college baseball arena. But when Cage’s girlfriend, Eva, mourns the sudden loss of her father, it’s not Cage’s comforting arms she runs to, but those of her former fiancé’s twin brother, Jeremy.
Torn between his baseball dream and the girl of his dreams, Cage must prove he’s worthy of Eva’s love, or risk losing her to Jeremy forever.

Played by Liz Fichera
I just recently finished Played by Liz Fichera. Here is the Bio of the book:
This Game Is Getting All Too Real
He said: I like to keep under the radar and mostly hang out with my friends from the rez. But when I saved Riley Berenger from falling off a mountain, that rich suburban princess decided to try to save me.
She said: If I can help Sam Tracy win the heart of the girl he can't get over, I'll pay him back for helping me. I promised him I would, no matter what it takes.

I read the first book Hooked first and I loved it. This was an ok sequel to the first one. I did not feel that there was a solid conclusion to the story. I felt that the book was rushed towards the end of the books. The one thing I liked about the series is that it shows you what it is like to be a Native American. I wish they would show you more or have more of the old characters in the book. To me this book could have been better but overall it was a good book.

Take A Chance
When Harlow Manning's rocker father goes on tour, he sends her to Rosemary Beach, Florida, to live with her half-sister, Nan. The problem: Nan despises her. Harlow has to keep her head down if she wants to get through the next nine months, which seems easy enough. Until gorgeous Grant Carter walks out of Nan's room in nothing but his boxer briefs.
Grant made a huge mistake getting involved with a girl with venom in her veins. He'd known about Nan's reputation, but still he couldn't resist her. Nothing makes him regret the fling more than meeting Harlow, who sends his pulse racing. Yet Harlow wants nothing to do with a guy who could fall for her wicked half-sister even if there are no strings between Grant and Nan. Grant is desperate to redeem himself in Harlow's eyes, but did he ruin his chances before he even met her?
Let me start off by saying that I am in Love with this series. I have read almost everyone of Abbi Glines books and i love every one of them Out of the whole series Grant is my favorite character in the series. He is hot, sexy, and devoted to his family. I love this book because you feel as if you are in the book yourself. Take A Chance will make you ride the emotional roller coaster. This book is steamy and down right sexy. It will make you all hot and bothered. I like how she adds her other characters in her book in her other books as well. This book can be read as a stand alone but i think you should read her other books first because it will help you understand the characters better. I recommend this book to anyone who likes a good romance novel.
