The Eagle ( spy girl 2) by Jillian Dodd

Revenge won’t change anything—or will it?

From USA Today bestselling author Jillian Dodd comes the second book in a sizzling series filled with action and adventure. Fans of The Selection and The Hunger Games will discover a heart-pounding thrill ride of espionage and suspense set in glittering high society.

The world’s most deadly assassin, a man known only as The Priest, has come back from the dead to take a series of high profile hits. When the assassin completes his first task—shooting an important world leader, the global community goes into collective shock and his government vows retaliation.

With her cover firmly cemented as Huntley Von Allister, Spy Girl’s vacation on the Royal Yacht is cut short when she’s called home for her next mission—and, this time, it’s personal.
Can Huntley accomplish her mission before the next hit takes place?
And what will happen when she finally comes face-to-face with the man who killed her mother?

My Thoughts:
I love this author. this book is a little different for her but i really enjoy it. this is the second book in the series and i recommend that you read them in order. we are learning more about Huntly and how she is related to the Von Alster family all while trying to keep the prince safe and sleeping with the Vise President's son. We also find out that she has a thing for the prince as well. Even though there is a lot of drama, there is a lot of action that happens. it is a really fast read and a must read.

# Bea (hashtag 7) by Cambria Herbert

This fall...

Happily-ever-after.
That’s what happens when you get married.
Right?
Turns out sparkly rings, cake and a fantastic wedding do not automatically grant you that, not even when it’s all you truly want.
I’m even starting to doubt the bottomless, unconditional love I share with the man I married will be enough.
I can’t have happily ever after, know why?
Because I can’t give Romeo what he truly wants. I’ve tried. So hard. I won’t be happy unless he is and something is missing. Someone.
Paparazzi are in my face. The flashing cameras and prying eyes are everywhere. My secret is getting harder to hide, and I know the second the scoop is dished the grip I have on the fraying rope of that happily ever after will snap right in my face.
In our face.
I can’t let that happen. No matter what.
Because with or without a happy ending, Romeo comes Before Anyone Else.

My Thoughts:
i really enjoyed this book. i felt that we got to see a new side of Rim and Romeo in this book. you could feel their bond grow in this book. i love see there family there to help them when they need it. there are a few teary moments but over all a good book. this one was not my favorite but i did enjoy it.

Broken Prince (Royals 2) by Erin Watt

Blurb:
THESE ROYALS WILL RUIN YOU...

Reed Royal has it all—looks, status, money. The girls at his elite prep school line up to date him, the guys want to be him, but Reed never gave a damn about anyone but his family until Ella Harper walked into his life.

What started off as burning resentment and the need to make his father’s new ward suffer turned into something else entirely—keep Ella close. Keep Ella safe. But when one foolish mistake drives her out of Reed’s arms and brings chaos to the Royal household, Reed’s entire world begins to fall apart around him.

Ella doesn’t want him anymore. She says they’ll only destroy each other.

SHE MIGHT BE RIGHT.

Secrets. Betrayal. Enemies. It’s like nothing Reed has ever dealt with before, and if he’s going to win back his princess, he’ll need to prove himself Royally worthy.

My thoughts:
well this book is a page tuner and you will not be able to put it down. the last book ending had you dying to read the next book and it will not disappoint you. it will have you falling deeper in love with all of the character. this book will play with your emotions like no other. the last 3  chapters will have you on the edge of your seat if you were not already. i had to reread the ending 2 or 3 times to make sure i understood everything. this is a must read.

A Redo (sterling Shore 6) by C.M. Owens

A Redo (Sterling Shore, #6)
Blurb:
Allie Thrash

Wren Prize is the asshole who got me pregnant seven years ago. And gave me a false name. And walked out of the hotel without a backward glance. Sure, I know I wanted to have sex just as much as he did, but I didn't want to be tossed aside like garbage the second it was done. I also wasn't planning to get pregnant. Now, after seven years of hating the jerk, I'm living in his city, because it's a small world and I found him by accident. Yes, I realize how crazy that must sound, but my luck is just that bad.

The problem is, the Wren Prize of today is not the Wren Prize I've envisioned castrating all this time. And I hate that I can't hate him the way he deserves to be hated. In fact, I'm terrified I might just be stupid enough to be falling for him.

Wren Prize

A daughter. I have a daughter. And I've missed over six years of her life because I decided to go for the world's biggest jerk award. I'm supposed to be the cool-headed one, the mature one, the one everyone goes to for advice. Yet I'm the one who fucked up the most. Sadly, I don't even remember that night. Too much fun, too much sun, and way too much booze.

It's hard to ask for a second chance when you don't even remember the first chance you had. And every time I'm around Allie, even when she's casting me glares that prove she wants me dead, I can't help but wonder what that night was like. Well, what it was like before I ruined her.

My Thoughts:

this book was one of the most heartfelt books. when i read this book i felt that i was in the book my self. there is so much that happens. i was also rolling on the floor laughing so hard. i really enjoy this story i could read this book over and over again. i truly recommend this book.

Finding out that his first love, the girl that stole his heart, is dying isn't the biggest shock he receives. The bad boy rocker has a child, and now, he's about to be her only living parent.

After bonding with Kadence, his 6-year-old daughter, Jace knows there's only one thing he wants to be--a father.  But that's not going to be as easy as it seems.  Social worker, Summer Stephens doesn't deem Jace's lifestyle fit for parenting.  She believes the stereotypes about rockers--that their lives are all about sex, drugs, and rock & roll.

Now it's up to Jace to convince Summer that Kadence is right where she belongs--at home with him at CFD. He's facing a fierce battle trying to prove there's room in his life for music and the daughter he wants to share it all with.

Will Summer realize that home is where you make it, and if she looks close enough, she just might see a family for herself?

My Thoughts:
I love this series. fans for this series have waited a long time to read this book. it was well worth the wait. there was  lot of tears when i read this book. the author always writes from more than one  point of view in her stories. i was wondering how she was going to do this and then i turned the page. At this point i am a trying hard not to cry. then the author switches points of view to the Kadence and i lost it. I have never read a story from a child's point of view before.i was a mess of tears after that. this book will have your emotions all over the place. you will get to see some of the old characters as well. i love seeing this family all together. this is fast but great read

# Rev By Cambria Hebert
Blurb:
Trent Mask puts the REV in revolution.
A line has been drawn.
Indie vs Pro
Here at GearShark, we’re straddling that line to bring you exclusive coverage of what some have dubbed the war of racing.
Every war starts with a spark and ends in revolution.
Drew Forrester was the spark,
but his second-in-command is the REVolution.
What does it take to stand brave in the face of opposition?
Resolve of steel…
Stubborn will…
And a heart that refuses to give up.
It isn’t just the drivers in this war.
The revolution is about more than just racing.
It’s about shattering labels and taking risks.
So we asked Trent Mask: Truth or Dare?
His answer?
Both.

My Thoughts:
i love her books. Trent and Drews story make me cry every time i read it. In this book i feel that it more about Trent than Drew. They each have their own obstacle that they need to fight through but they will realize that they are stronger together. i really enjoyed this story.

As Mare bears the weight of Silent Stone in the palace, her once-ragtag band of newbloods and Reds continue organizing, training, and expanding. They prepare for war, no longer able to linger in the shadows. And Cal, the exiled prince with his own claim on Mare's heart, will stop at nothing to bring her back.

Being a Sentinel isn’t all fairytales and secret gardens.

Sure, jumping through books into the world’s most beautiful libraries to protect humans from mystical creatures is awesome. No one knows that better than Gia Kearns, but she could do without the part where people are always trying to kill her. Oh, and the fact that Pop and her had to move away from her friends and life as she knew it.

And if that isn’t enough, her boyfriend, Arik, is acting strangely. Like, maybe she should be calling him “ex,” since he’s so into another girl. But she doesn’t have time to be mad or even jealous, because someone has to save the world from the upcoming apocalypse, and it looks like that’s going to be Gia.

Maybe. If she survives.
