My thoughts: I read this book in a day, sad there isn’t a sequel, I recommend this book to all my friends. It’s mythology with some modern twist. Isadora leaves Egypt, comes to America with her brother to break away from her parent’s shadows and tries to find herself. Her parents are the Egyptian god and goddess Isis and Osiris, can you blame her? You know there will be bumps along the way and some romance but it’s fun and witty and I like a lot of readers will enjoy this book.

I found this book at a thrift store where it had a precious life as a library book. I picked it up because it looked like a fun summer read-and I was right. It was a story of a girl who is queen bee in her high school, who gets dumped in the parking lot of her prom, and then enlists the help of a stranger to be her fake prom date. It's a cute YA-romantic book-that halfway through it I discovered that Leah has also read it. I'll be definitely looking into her other books, it was exactly what I wanted to read this summer.

If you don't already know this but i love Jillian's books. I feel that anyone can read them and get hooked no matter how old or young you are. When you read one of Jillian's books you get transported into her books and to me that is how you know you have a good book. I love the feeling of being sucked into a book.On to The Society, this book was amazing. i feel that some of are questions have been answered but now i have even more questions. there was a lot going on in this book. this book was not as action packed as the other books in the series. This book was more about fact finding than anything but i still really liked it. Now for the romance portion of the book. I am not liking the direction that part of the book is going. I personally like the president 's son better but i don't think that is where the book is going but i can dream. I like the relationship that Huntly and Daniel have together. I like that at sometimes we get to see different points of view. fast read and you will not be able to put it down.

My thoughts: Still the same as book 1, the Isle of the Lost. The series is just a fun read and in the sequel it shows how much the 4 kids have changed since leaving the island and their old evil ways. Mal, Evie, Carlos, and Jay have to return to the island and discover that their power and influences have changed since they left, they aren’t the baddest of bad anymore and they each have to figure out how to balance their life off the island with life on the island.

My thoughts:

So this book in my opinion should have never been written. I enjoyed the first book but the second not so much. I truly believe that the author could have left the last one the way it was. that all being said i did read this book well part of it.The first time i got a couple chapters in and i just could not continue. So i left it alone for a while and then i tried again to pick up where i left off. That did not work either. my brother had read the first one, so i passed the book off to him and see if it was just me being weird. my brother got farther then i did but then he lost interest to. he said that it was to slow and he could no finish this book. I don't think that i will try to pick this book up again. i just fet that this book was lacking. the author should have left book one alone and had everyone use their imagination on how they wanted to go. some books just don't need a sequales.

My thoughts: Disney villains have kids that are high school-ish age that have this rare opportunity to leave their island and join the kids of the Princesses/Princes. I didn’t care what age level this book is, I haven’t even bothered to look it up so I have no idea what it is. It’s a quick and simple read, I love how the closely and similar the kids are to their parents. It’s just a fun read so if you are looking for a dramatic retelling or an edgy continuation of the original stories you’re out of luck.

I got this ARC from book con and I was so beyond excited to start reading it. Like every other ARC I received I always check out other people's reviews to see how they’re being received.

This book completely took away any expectations I may have had.

It absolutely floored me, the concept, the imagery, and especially the serenity of the book. It kept me thinking about how I need more internal peace and should strive to help others selflessly.

Poore's vision of what the afterlife, “up there”, is nothing that I've ever read or seen of before. This book was full of humor, love, the cruel reality of human kind, how one may take life for granted, the ability to change, and the overwhelming necessity to learn from our own and others past mistakes.

This book is beyond amazing. I will definitely be re-reading it again when it is published on August 22nd.
