Blog tour for Aideen by L.A.Casey
Title: Aideen
Series: Slater Brothers (#3.5)
Author: L.A. Casey
Genre: Contemporary, Romance, New Adult, Romantic
Comedy
Releasing: November 3rd
Aideen Collins is fed up. She is at her wits’ end with her eon long pregnancy, her new-
found paranoia, but mostly she is fed up with her boyfriend’s constant hovering and nit-
picking.
Kane Slater is happier than ever. He is about to become a father for the first time with
the woman he loves. Little does he know that Aideen is both literally and figuratively a
ticking time bomb. He just has to survive a few more weeks of murderous hormonal
outbursts, and all will be well… or so he hopes.
They’re both caught up with the expected arrival of their little one, but in the back of
their minds is a shadow that won’t fade away. Neither of them talk about it, but the
shadow’s lingering presence casts doubt over their relationship.
Big Phil worked his way into their minds many weeks ago and rooted himself as the
haunting figure. Without even trying, he ruins things and causes problems. He watches
them from afar, hoping he can break their family.
Aideen’s instincts to protect her own are stronger than ever. If Big Phil wants to hurt
those dearest to her, he is going to have one hell of a fight on his hands.
Aideen worships Kane, and what Aideen worships, Aideen shelters.

“Don’t fight,” I groaned and turned into Kane’s body. “I’m too pregnant to try to stop
it.”
Kane placed his hand on my hip. “Why don’t you go to bed?”
“Because if I sleep now then I’ll be awake all night.”
Nico scoffed from across the room. “Go into labour and get the brat out then.”
I snickered, “I can’t just go into labour. It will happen when it happens. I’ve two weeks
left until me due date anyway, and it’s very common to go overdue… up to two weeks
over, now that I think of it.”
“Oh, my God,” Alec gasped with a hand placed dramatically over his chest. “We can’t
wait that long. Eight and a half months is long enough!”
Tell me about it.
“What helps induce labour?” Nico curiously asked.
I shrugged. “Long walks, spicy food, herbal teas, sex—”
“Do that!” Alec cut me off.
I snorted. “I would, but Kane won’t have sex with me.”
“What?” Alec and Nico asked in unison then looked at their brother with a mixture of
shock and disgust.
Ryder and Damien looked at him with disbelieving eyes, too.
“Don’t you pricks judge me,” Kane snapped and pointed his index finger at them. “You
try having sex with your girl when she is close to birthing a child. I’m fucking terrified I’ll
bump his head or something… he is so low. He has a secure hold of her pussy now. It’s
literally off limits. I just… I can’t touch her like that. That’s my kid’s mom!”
I rolled my eyes having heard this excuse a billion times over the last week and a
half.
“Is it weird that I’m picturing what Aideen’s pussy looks like now?” Nico muttered
aloud.
I gasped. “Yes, you pervert!”
“Don’t blame me,” Nico stated and looked at Kane, “he brought your pussy into it.”
The word pussy was starting to sound weird to me.
I held my hands in the air. “Let’s just stop talking about me vagina, okay?
Brilliant.”
A veil of silence fell upon the room until Alec opened his mouth.
“I’ll do it if Kane won’t.”
“Bro.”
I looked at Alec with a raised eyebrow. “Are you offerin’ to have sex with me?”
“Yes,” Alec replied without hesitation. “I really want you to have my nephew… I’m willing
to do anything to help bring on labour.”
Was it weird that my first reaction was to defend the gender of my unborn child as
female instead of rejecting my boyfriend’s brother’s offer to bed me?
“Five seconds.”
I blinked when Kane’s voice got my attention. His body was no longer under my legs. I
looked up and found Kane, who was now standing over Alec like an animal ready to
attack.
Alec leaned as far back into the sofa as he possibly could. “Bro, I’m trying to help-

When you're back (Rosemary beach 12) by Abbi Glines

Blurb:
From #1 New York Times bestselling author Abbi Glines comes the next new adult novel in her beloved Rosemary Beach series, which continues the story of Mase and Reese from When I’m Gone.
The future is bright for Reese Ellis. She has Mase Colt-Manning, the man of her dreams, and a family she didn’t know existed until her long-lost father arrived on her doorstep in Rosemary Beach. After growing up with a cruel mother and abusive stepfather, Reese is eager to get to know the caring and charming man who wants to be a part of her life. Everything is finally falling into place.
While Reese is visiting her new family in Chicago, Mase spends time with his “cousin,” Aida, who has worshiped him since childhood. Though they’re unrelated by blood, Mase and Aida have been raised to think of each other as family. But when Reese returns, she can tell something isn’t quite right with Aida, who clearly resents Reese and excels at manipulative little games. And though Mase is unsuspecting, Reese knows Aida doesn’t love him like a cousin should...

My Thought:
I love this series. so reading this book touched me the most in this series. the last book left us with such a big cliff hanger, i screamed at the end of the last book. there are a lot of ups and downs for Reese. this is a difficult time for her. Mase towards the middle starts to act like a butt head. that is ok he come back around. there is a lot of craziness that happens in this book. the ending of this book is going to be a shocker as well. this is a must read book.

Sassy Christmas (storm 4.5) by Nina Levine

Blurb:
This book picks up where Slay ends so make sure you've read up to that book before reading this one otherwise there will be spoilers for you.
My Thought:
this is a great in between story. this fill us in on what has been happening in the story while we are not there. it was a great way to catch up with the characters. it was short and to the point. i really like this series.

#Poser (hastag 5) by Cambria Hebeat
sorry for not posting. i have been super busy. i am going to try to post at least twice a week if possible in fall. i will post on Tuesdays and Thursdays. so to get back in the swing of things i will give you the review on #poser.
Because the best way to take down a poser is to be one.

blurb:
Posers gonna pose
I am a man who had nothing, but found everything.
I’ll never go back to nothing ever again.
I vowed to protect her, and that’s exactly what I’m gonna do.
The pictures I stumbled upon haunt me still, the secret I shoulder is heavy.
They say secrets put distance between two people, but the truth is far more destructive than keeping it will ever be.
I won’t ever tell. She can’t ever know.
When I look in the mirror my reflection is of who I’m afraid I’ll become and not the man I am.
It makes me feel like a poser, no better than all the others pretending to be exactly who they aren’t.
How does a man keep it together when everything is unraveling right here in his hands?
I didn’t start any of this.
I never asked for it.
But it came knocking at my door.
When secrets and threats knock, I don’t hide.
I open the door.

My Thoughts:
this book was amazing. i am in love with breaden. he is super funny and you never know what he is going to say. this book was heart wrenching for me to read. i cried a lot but they where mostly happy tears. i am really mad about Zack in this story. the situation that breaden is but in is a spot i would never want to be in. i wish that there was more interaction between Rim and ivy. i felt like they barely saw each other. we also learn new information that will lead us the next book. i don't want to give anything away but so much happens in this book.

Pawn by Aimee Carter

Blurb:
YOU CAN BE A VII. IF YOU GIVE UP EVERYTHING.
For Kitty Doe, it seems like an easy choice. She can either spend her life as a III in misery, looked down upon by the higher ranks and forced to leave the people she loves, or she can become a VII and join the most powerful family in the country.
If she says yes, Kitty will be Masked—surgically transformed into Lila Hart, the Prime Minister's niece, who died under mysterious circumstances. As a member of the Hart family, she will be famous. She will be adored. And for the first time, she will matter.
There's only one catch. She must also stop the rebellion that Lila secretly fostered, the same one that got her killed and one Kitty believes in. Faced with threats, conspiracies and a life that's not her own, she must decide which path to choose—and learn how to become more than a pawn in a twisted game she's only beginning to understand.

My thoughts:

Asa (marked men 6) by Jay Crownover

i love Asa. he is a brooding individual that thinks he is always in trouble. he falls for the cop even though he told himself that he would never date a cop. this book rides the emotional roller coaster. i think this the last book in the series but it was a very good way to end the series. sorry this post is so short i really could not think of any thing else to say.
